Origin Angola

Flavor that comes from the Earth

Our origins are deeply rooted in this rich land, where coffee and cocoa are not just crops – they are part of our identity, our history and our future .

But our origins lie not only in the land – they also lie in the people. In the farmers who, generation after generation, preserve traditional knowledge. In the passion with which each plant is cared for. In the respect we have for nature and in the desire to bring to the world an authentic, sustainable product full of history .

A return to roots, a sustainable future

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
In the heart of Angola, where the red soil stretches across vast landscapes and the tropical climate creates perfect conditions for cultivation, a tradition that time had almost erased is being reborn. Our story begins with a farm, established in 1931 , at a time when Angola stood out as one of the world's largest coffee producers. For decades, this land was synonymous with abundance and quality, with plantations tended by generations of farmers who knew every inch of the soil and every secret of the harvest.

However, Angola's history was marked by profound transformations. With independence and the years of instability that followed, many farms were abandoned, left to the mercy of time and oblivion.
What were once vibrant and productive lands had become silent spaces, where only the memory of golden times remained. It was in this scenario that we saw an opportunity – not just to restore a farm, but to restore a legacy.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

With dedication and respect, we acquired this historic land and embarked on an intense rehabilitation process. More than just restoring plantations, we brought life back to an ecosystem, revitalizing the soil, reintroducing sustainable agricultural practices and rescuing the ancestral knowledge of local farmers. Every tree planted, every grain harvested, carries with it the weight of history and the promise of a sustainable future.

Angola: Land of Coffee and Cocoa

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
During the colonial period, the country became one of the largest coffee producers and exporters in the world. The regions of Uíge, Kwanza Sul, Malanje and many others were renowned for the exceptional quality of their beans, supplying international markets with robust, full-bodied coffee with an unmistakable flavor.

Cocoa, although less commercially exploited than coffee, also found fertile soil in Angola to grow. Small farmers cultivated the fruit using traditional methods, ensuring a pure and rich cocoa, appreciated for its aromatic complexity.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

However, with the advent of independence and the political and social challenges that followed, the agricultural sector collapsed. Plantations were gradually abandoned, infrastructure deteriorated and production fell dramatically. What once put Angola on the world coffee map became an almost forgotten industry, surviving only in the memories of former farmers and rural workers.

But the land never forgets its potential. The climate remains ideal, the soil remains fertile and the passion for farming still lives on in the hearts of the communities.

A commitment to the land and the people

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
By rehabilitating this farm, we are not only reclaiming a piece of Angolan history – we are also creating opportunities for a fairer and more sustainable future. Our mission goes beyond coffee and cocoa production; we want to restore dignity to the countryside, value local farmers and demonstrate that Angola can once again occupy a prominent place in the world of excellent tropical products.

We work with a sustainable agricultural model, respecting biodiversity, reducing environmental impact and ensuring that each harvest is made with care and ethics. We invest in training farmers, ensuring that traditional knowledge is combined with the best modern practices, allowing for high-quality production without compromising nature.

More than a brand, we are farmers

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
We are different because we know the land. We are not just traders or processors – we are farmers, with our hands in the dirt and our feet firmly planted in the soil we cultivate. We smell the wet earth after the rain, we recognize the right time to harvest, we know that the true flavor of coffee and cocoa begins long before it reaches the cup.

Every grain we produce carries with it the soul of Angola: a country of strength, history and immense potential. What we do is not just revive a tradition – it is building a future where the richness of the land is once again celebrated and where local communities thrive through fair and sustainable work.

We rescue the past to cultivate the future.
Because the true flavor of Angola comes from its land and its people.
